I'm focused on upgrading the restored copies. The Tec 28 8.5 would have been nice. I was under-bidder in the extended time format. Congrats to whomever won it for 72. As someone mentioned in the Cap1 thread, I was going up against someone with bigger balls. Seeing as how I likely won't have another shot at a Universal 28 this year, will focus on getting a nice 36. :wishluck:

That was a very very healthy price Peter...great that you went that far...I'm amazed it sold for that much, it is a beauty though.

It hammer at $16,200

The one I really wanted v4 #1 went too high for my meager means, $4300.

Paid 4700+ for that 4/1. That’s a 20% net loss. You should have bid more

The 28 2.5 restored copy (extensive with married pages ) closed at almost 7K

My math may be off, but isn't your net loss closer to 8% of the original purchase?  hm

At 108% of final hammer with the BP included you should at least break even.

 ...Oh, ...wait a minute, ...I'm thinking HA.

Okay, I literally just filled my diaper (thank god I was wearing two !)

Batman 7, 7.0, OW pages $8950

Just typing that made me fill my second diaper.  :whatthe:

Someone really wanted the Robin's face in bad guy's butt cover.

I didn’t think that was the first “Robin’s face in some random guys butt” covers but if it is, then the price definitely makes sense.

Loss big...that’s why I didn’t want to know individual results. It’s the cumulative net that matters

I've struck out on everything, still a couple of bids left to go.  Results on some of these books are astonishing IMO. Can't stop thinking about that Blue Bolt 115 7.0 @ $3511. I'd guess on average Cole books have tripled in the last year or so.
