Last purchase was a box chock full of promotional/giveaway comics from the 1930's and up INCLUDING the rare Spitfire digest comic and Donald Duck and the Atom Bomb,  etc :cloud9:

Looks like a fun load and a very weird mix of eras and books. Someone was obviously a give-a-way collector.

These are probably my last purchases of the year. Both slight upgrades. Oh, I did send Catrick some dough for a cool Mopsy comic today but don't have it in hand yet.

Unless something comes up that I just HAVE to have, these will probably be it until Terry's show at end of Jan.

I’ve pretty much given up on eBay. Like you said, cool books seem to go to the moon price wise there. (Unless I’m selling them) :roflmao:

Somebody was running a big auction. With a lot of timely funny animal ww II books. Thought I could snag something, but those mostly got jacked into $50-200 even in lower grades. I am not familiar with them so I was cautious. I figure $50 can get me something more mainstream. With that said there seems to be a lot up for auction right now. As I don't see this stuff in flea markets, shows they are priced sky high, and my local shops don't get much, ebay seems to be the venue other than here, where most pricing is pretty aggressive on GA stuff.
