Funny story I read about that the other day, mostly stemmed from the cost of ad space, printing, back when you were charged by the letter.

Thrilling Wonder Stories Pulp Magazine Feb 1950 Thrilling Pubs

Wow, what a cover! Similar to Punch #9 or Weird Chills #2. Weird little monsters torturing a pretty lady. What would this be worth if it were a comic book?

Nice tight copy with full square paper spine. Has a small piece of old tape on back cover spine. Has a very neat 2" long upper spine split. Usual minor edge overhang tears for a pulp. Bright, clean and solid. Interior pages are yellowed but very supple. Photo is a little washed out. Blacks are a lot darker in person and the colors really pop on this one. Grab a classic cheap!

Was $40. Cheap!   Now $35. Cheaper and a steal

Mystical Tales #2 Aug 1956

Joe Orlando and Dave Berg stories. Cool cover that was just what kids needed to part with those dimes!

Has some light "Marvel chipping" on right side of cover. Small piece out of bottom cover and ink is a little bluured. Corners are slightly chipped. Back cover has a small piece at bottom where it looks like another book was stuck to it. Smooth, tight spine. Everything well attached. Off white, fresh interior pages.

$25.
