both the DC Who's Who omni and the Marvel Universe omni are up for preorder, in case anybody missed 'em. I'm stoked about both of them. Never really expected them to be reprinted.

Hardbound book with uncoated matte paper. Inks jump off the pages without much glare. Paper is I think a high-quality newsprint. Not sure how it will hold up over time. Right now, it looks great!

Missed the first Eternals Omnibus when it was released 15 years ago, so I made sure I preordered the latest edition way back in March. Got it today.

This edition has way more content: ETERNALS (1976) 1-19, ANNUAL (1977) 1; ETERNALS (1985) 1-12; ETERNALS: THE HEROD FACTOR (1991) 1; NEW ETERNALS: APOCALYPSE NOW (2000) 1; IRON MAN ANNUAL (1971) 6; AVENGERS (1963) 246-248; material from WHAT IF? (1977) 23-30.

So... I finally got a set of Swamp Thing HCs, which is great!

But... seriously whoever typeset the spine for volume five is an individual_without_enough_empathy.

(Not to mention volume 1 is inexplicably printed with a matte coated dust jacket, whereas the others are gloss.)

You'll like The Authority is you enjoyed Millar's Ultimates run. It's nowhere near as good or as deep as Planetary, though.
