Hey, I can answer one.  Superman/doomsday hunter prey is listed under Superman Miniseries Set

Appreciate the info!  Still think the Hunter/Prey books also belong in the 'Superman (Doomsday Death Funeral Return)' set as well.  Not sure who originally created the set but it also contains the Death of Superman TPB platinum edition (which goes to JMoses argument above about the Mister Miracle TPB not belonging in the Mister Miracle set).  If the TPB is in the set then the Hunter/Prey books should be there as well.  To be honest when I first found the set I was disappointed because I was hoping for just a Death set from the Doomsday cameos through Superman 75.

Again, going back to the name of the set and considering the context of the Hunter/Prey books I request they be added to the set.  Everything after... Doomsday Wars, etc was not a part of this story at all.  DC should have just left Doomsday at the end of time as that was pretty cool, and fitting considering his name... Doomsday, end of time, kinda neat  The more they messed around with the character after that, the worse it got.

Would it be possible to add to the set " Hellboy (1993-1994) " the book " Dark Horse Insider v2 #27 " from dark horse comics. Published 02/1994?

If we’re going to continue to add cover appearances/magazines/Mignola Interviews then we may as well add Wizard #31 (Mar ‘94) to the set as well. Hellboy on cover and Mignola interview.

Mollie,

The Woods by boom studios has been created, but the variant cover to number 1 is not listed.  there is a slot for the #1 regular cover, but not the variant.  The registry did, however, allow me to add the variant to the #1 slot, but I believe it kicked out the #1 regular cover.  I think it did the same thing with another one of my books.  Could you look into this.  I'm just looking to get the points for both covers to move closer to the coveted number 1 spot.

thanks

I spoke with the graders about this book and, apparently, Boom! Studios does not consider this as a variant as it has the same bar coding as the other regular cover. They did for the C2E2 Edititon, Limited Edition, Retailer Incentive Edition, and the San Diego Comic-Con Edition, which is why those slots are available. I'm sorry, but I will be unable to fulfill this request.

Mollie,

That's weird, they're ruining my registry standings.   why would they create a different cover #1 and use the same bar code when it's clearly a variant cover?  Is this the first stump for you? and is this the first stump of this type for you?

Hi Mollie,

Thank you for adding my Epic Illustrated #nn Sampler to my registry, but I believe the #nn and #nn Sampler are the same book. There are only 2 of them ever graded by CGC (an 8.0 and my 7.5). We should not have the listing twice on the registry.

Of course, all of us appreciate your hard work on this little corner of the CGC site.  :foryou:

I removed the Epic Illustrated #nn and left the Epic Illustrated Sampler nn. Please PM me if this is not what you were looking for.

Thank you for adding these. Please can you move the TWD --script Book to below issue 189 so as not to interrupt the main 1-189 run (it is presently showing below the 184 variant).

Thank you,

I'd like to request the following Valiant Comics sets and updates:

Chaos Effect Set - Valiant Comics - 1994

Chaos Effect: Alpha #nn

Chaos Effect: Alpha #nn Retailer Incentive Edition

Chaos Effect: Omega #nn

Chaos Effect: Omega #nn Gold Edition

Chaos Effect Epilogue #1

Chaos Effect Epilogue #2

Punx Set - Valiant Comics - 1995

Punx #1

Punx #2

Punx #3

Punx Manga Special #1

These books should be added to the Solar, Man of the Atom set:

Destroyer #0, Valiant, 4/95

We agree, it's the best place for this one shot. It has been added.

Original Doctor Solar, Man of the Atom #1, Valiant, 4/95

This book should be added to the Magnus Robot Fighter (Valiant) set:

Original Magnus Robot Fighter #1, Valiant, 4/95

Since the Original Doctor Solar and the Original Magnus Robot are reprints of the original Gold Key books, we feel that these do not fit in the sets. However, I created a new set for you titled "Valiant/Gold Key Reprints" in which you can add your books that contains these early 90s reprints of the original titles.

Thank you!

Mollie,

Could you please add:

Book: Aliens Earth War #nn

Set: aliens earth war

Thank you

I made you a "Aliens: Earth War (Complete)" Set. It just didn't feel right to add a TPB to the original set at the last minute.

Hello Mollie,

I would like to request that these books be added to this set

Set: Superman (Doomsday Death Funeral Return)

1) Superman/Doomsday: Hunter/Prey #1, D.C. Comics 1994, Cert # 1229734005

2) Superman/Doomsday: Hunter/Prey #2, D.C. Comics 1994, Cert # 1229734006

3) Superman/Doomsday: Hunter Prey #3, D.C. Comics 1994, Cert # 1229734007

4) Wizard: The Superman Tribute Edition #nn, Wizard Pub. 4/93, Cert # 0804833001

5) Newstime #nn, D.C. Comics 5/93, Cert # 0502341004

Rationale: Superman/Doomsday: Hunter/Prey 1-3 clearly round out and finish the Death and Return of Superman storyline as Superman, suffering from PTSD from his fight with Doomsday, hunts down the monster and finishes the fight started in the Death storyline.  All other Doomsday appearances after Hunter Prey #3, where Superman and Waverider throw Doomsday into the end of time, are clearly not a part of this set as at that point Brainiac steals Doomsday's body and starts something completely new and separate from this storyline/set.

The Wizard Tribute Edition and Newstime both memorialize the Death of Superman and should be included in this set as there is nowhere else they would logically be placed.

Finally, the name of this set is "Superman (Doomsday Death Funeral Return)".  These five books seem to clearly fall into these categories of "Doomsday", "Death", "Funeral", and "Return" and should be added here.

Thank you!

Jayme

I respectfully disagree with adding Superman/Doomsday: Hunter/Prey and Wizard: The Superman Tribute Edition #nn to this set.

Yes, Superman/Doomsday: Hunter/Prey does finish a fight started in the Death and Return storyline but it is a sequel that came out over a year later. I think the set should stay focused on the three chapters that ran simultaneously - Doomsday, Funeral and Reign of the Supermen form 1992 to 1993. Maybe have a separate set for all the Doomsday miniseries?

I do agree with adding Newstime #nn, D.C. Comics 5/93 as it was published by D.C. Comics to coincide with the Death of Superman but D.C. did not publish the Wizard magazine. I also think that since the Wizard magazine is not a comic book is another reason it should not be added, the magazine is nice but it's also a price guide. There are also other comics magazine tribute issues similar to the Wizard edition. Yes, the Newstime special is in magazine format, but it was put together by D.C. writers and artists, I know that may sound like a stretch, but the Newstime edition feels more like a comic book as it has art from the comic creators, while the Wizard edition is a collection of articles, photos and art.

I'm for keeping this set as it is, with D.C. issues cover dated from 1992 to 1993. 2c
