It will state “second printing” in the indica.  Dark Horse did a good job on labeling what printing a book was.  In same cases the back cover was also different like in the case of AVP #1.  First print had a wrap around cover where second print had the standard front cover but the back cover was an ad for Give Me Liberty.

Thank you!  Can you show me the back cover whenever you have it in hand?  I am looking online and the one I'm about to buy has an ad on the back but the indicia says its first printing.

The first and second prints of aliens 2 have the same back cover.  Here is my raw first print.  I just looked on eBay and there is a second print with the same back cover.  Aliens 2 second prints were printed in Oct of 1988.

Probably up there with Albedo #2 for toughest 9.8 Copper book in existence. Not even remotely kidding. It is rarer in 9.8 than all but the earliest Silver Age and scarcest Bronze oddities.

It's just impossible. If there are ever 20 copies of 9.8 on the census, ever, I would be very, very, very surprised.

Very cool find!! Hard to find much info about this book from my limited search, but MCS had the following description:

"Mark Verheiden and Mike Richardson discuss Aliens; Mike Richardson discusses Godzilla. Aliens cover by Mark Nelson."

Good catch on the date, this was before Aliens 1 and DHP 24, could this be the "first cover appearance" or something like that?
