could someone tell me how much effect Finger prints on the cover has on a book like this?

overall the book is great, but right where you would hold it to read it its got bad fingerprint marks that kinda look like they've made the coloring fade...

Looks like that area is dirty, not necessarily a color loss. I'm not sure but I suspect it will get a single bump down.

A typical reduction would be a 9.4 becomes a 9.2 (like Bomber-Bob said) but I've also seen them bring the grade down even more than that. It depends on how extensive and noticeable they are...

It looks dirty as well, but it looks like some ink was lifted by those dirty fingers.

Cleaning the fingerprints will result in even more ink loss. The book will get hit pretty hard for that type of ink loss.
