My best guess is:  The one with the hole would likely come out on top. The grade would probably end up in the GD/VG range (3.0) even with the tape repair.

The copy with the missing coupon would probably end up in the Good range (2.0 - 2.5).

The one with the hole is still complete. I'd take that over the 1/10 of the bc missing AND damaged fc book any day.

The holy book is imo 2.5 - hard to say it's not a 3.0 or a 2.0 either.

I'd probably take the hole book but the hole does affect the panels inside (story and art) and the POBC doesn't.  But honestly, if you afford it or save up, I would sell both of these copies and buy a complete copy even low grade if necessary.

I thought that if the hole 'cut out' some panels, especially words in the panels, it may be regarded as Incomplete. (shrug)

Could be, but this hole looked like it missed taking out words and only grazed the panels, at least from the pics posted. I wouldn't call that one incomplete. But that's just me.

From the looks of this pic, you don't think the panels were affected ? (shrug)

Based on the pic of the splashpage, it looks like it only grazed the border of the panels. If the other pages are like that, not as bad I'd say.

Interesting question though, whether a hole that small that did or did not take out letters would make it "incomplete". I don't believe it would be. (shrug)

Bob

I think it is a subjective call and possibly based on the significance.  Here is one of mine and though notated still received a blue label of 2.5.  I assume the holes although through the hole book would still be regarded as slight but I am not certain.
