What you can't see is a 1/8" spine split at the very top, a 1/2" spine split just below the top staple and a 3/8" spine split at the very bottom; accumulating to a total of 1" of spine split.

Doesn't show up too often. Worth being graded? Thanks for any opinions.

Spine stresses and several spine splits 4.0

I will second a 4.0 grade. At very worse, 3.5 but it presents well and the spine wear doesn’t look bad.

4.5/5.0. I have similar books with spine splits in 5.0 slabs.
