I've been taking a hiatus from the boards since the holiday season, but I'm back with a new thread. This semester (been working at colleges for too long to think of the calendar any other way) I'm stuck in a dead zone: I finished my PhD in December, but won't start a new job until the summer. So the first time in many years, I'm not teaching this spring. I figure I would start an ongoing sales thread that would help fund my eventual move and go towards my student loans. I will start posting today and add a little more each day. Invoices will go out each weekend on Saturday or Sunday, and then the week will start fresh. Each month, what doesn't sell will be moved on to another selling avenue and fresh books will start the thread over.

The Rules:.

1st  gets it over PM offers. As always, I'm hoping I price these enticingly, but I will always entertain fair offers.

Shipping is a flat $6.49 for however many books you buy. I would like this to be lower, but unfortunately the post office just raised prices. I use rectangular comic book mailer boxes with additional padding. Will ship to Canada at cost, but please PM me about it first.

PayPal is the preferred method. If you want to send a check or money order, please PM me and ask first. A few of you have bought from me in the past with other methods and will be honored again.

Returns are accepted if initiated within 7 days of receiving the comics. If there are any graded books, returns will not be accepted on those.

Doom Patrol #121 (FN/VF)   $40  Death of Doom Patrol/Last Issue with New Material

A tiny fleck of paper off the spine and one small spine crease. Rest of the book is excellent. Very bright book with great yellow and black.

Ghosts #1 (VF-)  $35  

1971 first issue. Sharp looking book with a small color-breaking edge crease on the bottom. Very sharp colors with one as well. Small mechanical crease on back cover. Small dot of something stuck to it.

Slight spine roll. A little edge wear. Overall, solid mid-grade.

Solid book with general wear, but complete and fully attached.

Nice mid-grade book and last of the series. Nice color on this one.

Amazing Spider-Man #89 (VF-)   $35

I am tempted to make it a full VF. It's close. But those tiny chips on the edge of the back cover is enough for me to knock it down a bit. Very sharp book otherwise.

Star Spangled War Stories #135 (FN+)  $25

Great Russ Heath dinosaur cover. A little bit of color breaking area near the spine, but this is a nice, solid, mid-grade book that presents better.

Amazing Spider-Man #67 (VG)  $15

Has some non color breaking indents and waves that could press out. Some creases on outer edges of the book. Spine and staples are firm.

Batman #245 (VG+)  $10

Presents more in the 5.0/5.5 range but there is a tear inside the book near the spine of the centerfold page. It doesn't effect the story.

Above average complete reader. Subscription crease across the book. Centerfold loose at one staple. Solid and complete.
