I think you can just email CGC directly and ask.  They have a customer service department.

I'm one that says that you can judge or grade a book by its cover.  That being said there are those here that don't hesitate.  

For them, you'll need to take the book out of whatever it's in now and take clear high res shots of as much of the book as possible including:  both front and back covers (front side and reverse); any defects; the stapes etc etc etc
