Maybe call advice nurse they are good at directing care and can make emergency appointments with like opthamologists. There should be a number on back of your card to call for various stuff. It’s a super nice hospital and the place is always empty Remember you can go to any emergency room but you have to have a reason for going to nearest but out of network hospital like you were bleeding profusely or felt it was unsafe to drive farther. Make sure you call member services the next day to report an out of network ER visit or you could end up paying for it. Note date/time/person you spoke with on phone because you will most likely receive something in mail asking for these things. I usually have one or two extended stays a year so I know the insurance will pay for it. I actually just got out of the hospital like 3 weeks ago. The day I got out I went to the water park. Looked like a total junkie with the track marks from the CCU and all my crappy home made tattoos. Turkey with stuffing and mashed potatoes, fried chicken, salisbury steak, meatloaf, pancakes and sausages, it was all good. If they can't flush it out then the doc is going in with a a q tip or something. It is bad you waited so long and may have scratched your eyeball.
