Popular Post Robot Man
How about this to hold all your old Western comics in? Popular Post mlansdown
I'm not much for the Western genre but how can you go wrong with a Frank Frazetta baby scalping cover? Did I just say that out loud? Badger, Hutch88, gadzukes and 2 others
Popular Post gadzukes
I decided to send this Durango Kid 2 in for grading. It was one of the comics I bought from the collection I started this thread about. It got a 9.2 with WHITE pages. That ties it with the Edgar Church copy for the highest on the census. For those of you who bought some of these from me..... you will be quite happy when you send them in. Popular Post jimjum12
There are tons of westerns that I find desirable. The Atlas stuff is easily my favorite.... but here's one with another Frazetta cover.... back in the early 70's I was a big Frazetta fan due to the Ballantine and Lancer paperback covers.... until I started going to shows in 1974, I was unaware of his comic output. This one has been a favorite since I first saw a beat up copy many years ago. GOD BLESS.... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) frozentundraguy, adamstrange, damonwad and 2 others

Yep they sure do. Not entirely sure these are Schomburg covers, but I love them just the same. HouseofComics.Com
unclezebo
I've picked up quite a few westerns around were I live. Actually it seems I have more people bidding against me on westerns than super hero comics. I figure it comes from being in rural area and the western genre is still going pretty strong here. Lots of zane grey books, john wayne movie posters, western prints etc in estate auctions. szav, jimjum12 and wickedmountain

They all had the same "Special" stamp on them. I was told they were given away as prizes to kids going to the movies in the early 1950's.
