just so Kav and others know: this is Mary Shelly's novel with Wrightson illustrations. The drawings are fantastic but it isn't a comic. The original trade is hard to find and expensive and to my knowledge has never been reprinted.

There are so many great illustrations in that book

Looks like it's gone now, there were two low priced copies this morning when I posted. I had no idea it was so pricey, or I would have bought both of them! One was $1.99, the other was $5.99 with free shipping, I think.

And FWIW, @Artboy99 the book's been reprinted. I bought the softcover in the early 90s, mine looks like this:

But the Amazon listing has this photo:

If you find a Very Good (ie 7.0/8.0 in comic book standards) copy of either books on eBay for 2.00 bucks. Or 20 for that matter... Heck, under $50!

Pls let us know

I believe @Buzzetta got a glimpse of the original art from that book at Metropolis museum? Maybe he can share images here?

I went the night before a carbo show where a few other boardies went and myself.  That was the day of Roy's picture of me with the lego head.

I stopped by for the Hildebrandt exhibit with another boardie... I don't remember this piece though and I looked through iPhoto for the March 2015 pics and don't have anything in there either... sorry.

OK, I went back to my cache in Firefox to see if I could pull up the page, and it turns out the page I was looking at was malformed.

https://www.amazon.com/Bernie-Wrightsons-Frankenstein-Modern-Prometheus/dp/0887331939/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=bernie+wrightson&qid=1552483830&s=gateway&sr=8-11

So this is the Wrightson page I was looking at, but if you click on the links for the cheaper versions (like under hardcover), it shows you non-Wrightson versions.of the novel, which I hadn't noticed this morning.

House of Mystery 204 is cover to cover Wrightson if I remember correctly.  Can probably get a mid-grade for about $10.

According to GCD, Wrightson drew the cover and a nine page story. Sergio Aragones, Jack Sparling, Win Mortimer and Alex Nino drew the rest of the issue.

I hope this is OK.  If not, let me know and I'll delete ASAP.  Just wanted those who had posted previously that I had some nice Bernie Stuff up on the boards.  Paul~
