Right  at  the  bitter  end  of  Fawcett's  first  run  of  comics  publishing,   and  somehow  Mr.  Scarlet  managed  to  outlast  Mary Marvel  in  this  title.  
Go figure.

Large  tape  pull  lower  edge BC,  small  tears along  spine  BC,  general  wear,  small  corner off upper RH FC,   stamp  FC. Pulled  staple  on CF,  offwhite pages.

Looks great,  but  there's  a large  tear  upper  LH  FC,  through the  M  in  Mutt.  So neat,   I don't  believe you'll be able to  see it in  the scan...but it's there.
Otherwise  flat nd  square,  tight with white pages.

Plenty of old  tape  repairs  all  along  spine,  plus  a  couple    more  here  and there. Chipping  and  small  pieces  out  around the  perimeter 
of  both   covers. Tight  enough,  supple  cream  pages,  displays  well  for  the  technical  (bleah)  grade.

Third  SA  Atom.

Lower  spine  is  split  nearly  up  to  the upper  staple,  but  no  worries,  there's  a  bonus  staple  down low  to  hold  everything  together,
