Never had  that  trouble,   I  had  an  Econoline  van  and  several  friends  with   property.  Campfire,  a  few  beers  or  lefthanded  cigarettes,

1966  edition,    complete  with   original  glasses,  see  scan. Upper  spine  split  halfway  down,   small  split  lower  spine,   old  tape  repairs
at upper  and  lower  ends,.  Cover  still  attached  at  middle  and  lower  staples  (Yes,  three  staples on  this one)  Old  small  tape  stain  upper edge
FC,  some  general  wear,  large  dogear  lower  RH  FC.  Interior  is  nice  with  offwhite - white pages.  For  those  of  you  who  haven't  seen it, 
the  3-D  is  quite  nice.
