Buy it. Slice each remaining wrap in half and grade everything. Pick out the one you like most and sell the rest. You have an incomplete Tec 29 you will still have an incomplete Tec 29.... You'll probably make back more than the $1,900 original investment.

Don't feel bad about it either. More people get to own a piece of a historic book, you get your piece for free and likely make some cash along the way too. It's what I'd do.

Slap a $100 price on the two staples and see if some sucker buys them LOL

You're not thinking big enough! You should cut out each individual figure in each panel, and slab those. You'll make a mint! Who wouldn't want an original cut out from 'Tec #29??

I'd want a page, third appearance of The Bat, 1st Batman villain. I'd have that framed instead of slabbed. An ad page or non bat story... Not so much.

I'm not sure I'd have the nerve to slap down 1900 on THAT book though considering what else I could have for that amount of dosh. Even if I do think it's a good idea.

"Hello, Matt Murdock's Comics Shop! How may I help you?"

"Matt Murdock, PGX head grader, restoration detection specialist, and autograph authenticator speaking, how may I direct your call?".

"Who was it Matt?"

"Oh just that Isaac bloke again.  I tell you, every time I man the phones, Newton rings"
