Buddy Saunders notified me of this sad news earlier today. it Is my understanding that efforts are already underway to continue OAFcon next year. More on this as it progresses. I would go to his store while in college at OU in Norman. Really such a welcoming and nice man. I bought my Cat-Man 13 MH from him back then. He had the whole run of MH Cat-Mans, iirc. Every time I would see him, including last year, he would joke with me about buying it back. RIP, my friend. It has been announced on Facebook that Oklahoma promoter Peter Purin has coordinated with the late Bart Bush's wife Barbara, Buddy Saunders of mycomicshop, and original OAF members Robert Brown, John McMahan and others to bring OAFCON back October 2nd-3rd, 2021. As before, the event will be held at Embassy Suites in Norman. Peter says he plans to hold an auction benefiting Bart's family.
