Detective #269, Batman and Robin are targets (again) it's amazing how many times these themes are repeated, lol. The color is great on this book, it was in the dark for most of it's life;) This is a Bakerstowne copy from 1959 Nice pages, great color, some distributor's ink on the top edge and a bold stripe on the back cover. I have it marked as VG- (3.5) but that's just a guess on my part, it looks better than VG- (3.5)  but I have no idea how they grade the ink. Bin is $75.00  sold to Norrin's Lawyer,

Detective Comics #272, A fantastic creature from under the sea (I could have sworn he would be from outer space;) 1959, with nice color and pages. There are a few corner creases and creasing near the spine. Grade is VG (4.0) but it's a really nice one. Bin is $45  sold to Norrin's Lawyer, at 15% off

Detective Comics #275, If there is one thing you have to say about some of these books, is the writers were either really really imaginative, or doing drugs before it was fashionable;) I can't even begin to explain this one, you will have to read it for yourself. The Zebra Batman! 1960

Small tears at the two bottom corners and 2 pages have marginal tears. There is a little invisible staining in the center (very little) and a corner cover tear bottom right. Grade is VG  (4.0) Bin is $55 sold to Annihilus

Detective Comics #277. A jigsaw creature from outer space, it splits into 3 and is going to take over the world...can the alien space hunter help in time? Well, if he couldn't the series would have ended and it's still running, so it's probably OK, but I love the imaginations of the writers. Roy Ramond faces the Plundering Plant and the Martian Manhunter deals with Mr. Moth! 1960

Nice color and pages, a spine roll and the bottom staple is detached from the cover. Grade is VG- (3.5) bin is $28  sold to Hudson,

Thanks, Sharon! Been wanting to pick up one of your books for a couple of sales threads now, finally got one that spoke to me!

Actually, the Batman with the Joker cover spoke to me too, but someone got that one before I saw it, lol

I should post in green, but most of this is saved in purple and I'll jumble it up, so forgive me;)

There are a lot of pictures, I have inside pictures for each book. Those will be in spoilers. It takes some time to load them.

Detective Comics #99, Early Penguin Cover. 1945. Nice pages, nice color. There is a tear on the right edge that once had a piece of tape on it. It looks like there is some residual glue. There is a tear on the back cover that goes through the next page, There is some amateur glue on the tear. The bottom staple is detached from the cover. Grade is Apparent VG. Probably would have graded Good+ without the glue. Bin is $295
