Rey. Vision. Scarlet Witch. Etc. Notice how one of these characters is not like the other.

Byproducts of McGuffins are almost equally as boring. That doesn't fit your strawman argument, though.

Captain Marvel just doesn't work. Shazam! looks like it does, though. The real Captain Marvel.

And it looks like Captain Marvel DOES work as it’s down less in its second full week (45-50%) than other big Marvel movies (70%) DESPITE being front loaded. 

In 12 days it’s already the 13th highest grossing Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. 

People love it and are seeing it a second time. No matter how much you think it sucks or, as you put it “she hasno arc other than feminist tropes that don'treally have a good place in the MCU.“

Everyone has seen your clear bias. You can point the finger at others and say it’s theirs, but this is YOUR direct quote. This is how you see it. 

If THAT is what you believe (and those are YOUR words), then everything else you say about it is tainted by that.
