I was wondering what grade do you think this comic is? Would it benefit with a press?

No idea about pressing.

Agree it's 8-8.5. 

This is not a rare book. I wouldn't waste time or money to press and slab. If you're looking for a top-grade copy, you're better off buying it slabbed.

structurally there are a couple small bends on the front and back cover upper edges, small color breaking crease front cover bottom right corner, back cover lower right corner wear.  What kills the grade is the tan soiling / staining on the back cover near the spine covering about 2/3 length of the book.
