Just got back to the hotel and wow is all I can say. Incredible show with so much to do!! Even chasing signatures and dealing with lines I managed to pick up some great books. Figured I would share and encourage everyone else to too!

A lot of opportunities for big spenders at this show, but that is not me. I’m also not inspecting wall books with a miner’s headlamp for pressing and/or CPR opportunities. I look for one or two GA books for my personal collection and spend most of my time box-diving.  So no wall pictures here.

By the time I made it to the convention floor (about 10:10 Friday) both Comics4Less and Victory comics (setups with a lot of $1/$2 books) were swamped, elbow-to-elbow with large guys with large backpacks or roller bags. Not a fun scene. I took a quick look but moved on to lesser known pastures. 

The majority of the below was picked up for $3 or less, save for five comics and the Deadly Hands magazine. 

And to avoid the dreaded double-post I added some pictures of the Spawn run I found for $1 each. Missing a few of the homage covers, but that’s fine by me. 

Lastly, my one GA purchase: a Frazetta Famous Funnies from Worldwide. Now I have to buy the rest.

I didn't get anything because I wasn't there

My first con, period, and obviously my first C2E2, even though I've been in Chicago for 4 years.  I'm 100% going back!  Loved it!! I addition to these babies, I got 3 George Perez Infinity Gauntlet signed, CGC witnessed, taken off site for grading for SS.  Also turned in a TMNT #3 for off site grading.  (They didn't have the equipment for wide books.)

Bought New Mutants 98, took that sweet baby straight to CGC and she got a 9.4.  Pretty sweet!

My old ASM 42 got graded at a 4.5, but I was hoping for a 6.  Oh well.  Got Avengers 32 graded and two GI Joe #1 graded.  (One GI Joe #1 was a green label 7.5, which is fair, bc the centerfold was detached, which CGC caught.)

Snagged a couple GI Joe 21 first prints in great shape.  

Had a great time!
