That's what I'm thinking... I would do it for eye appeal and sell them raw.

While these books may not be great for the discerning collector, they're perfect reading copies (as long as there's no mold, fungus, toadstools, alien spores, etc.) Personally, I'd keep these just for that purpose. And the storage is simple, too...just throw 'em in a cardboard box...

Well, here are the results...

Just a fabulous job, under the circumstances. He got out ALL of the actual creasing... the ridges shown on the left side of each cover are actually flat... just the residue of the staining.

Compare to the original photo I posted... where the rippling over the rest of the comics is now GONE. The back covers are remarkable compared to before.

I mean, the grades on these will still stink... I'm thinking they are in the 3.0 range... but what an improvement! Kudos to joey! :)
