Can an individual comic or just a few comics still be registered even though a set hasn't been made (i.e. Marvel's Nightwatch or DC's The Heckler)?  To extrapolate on that, are census numbers strictly based on registry additions or are census numbers added by CGC after a book has been graded/shipped?

The census is updated one week after the books have been shipped from our facility. You can utilize the custom set feature in the registry for books/titles that are not listed or you can make a request for the set to be built here:
