I'll offer one for the discussion, Captain Marvel Adventures 26.  Tough book and first appearance of Mr Mind who very well could be in future Shazam movies as the main villian.  Got this copy raw in recent HA sale.

Yeah...it was a strange mind-set back then.  But, that's also what makes these early racist covers so valuable and bizarre.

Any one see Shazam over the weekend? Really fun movie and I was laughing out loud at times. They did a great job of making this fresh while still paying homage to the character's early roots. One of the better adaptations I have seen and really a great read on what was always a less than serious character. Stay for the end credits for some fun DC mash up titles too. Good on DC for putting this out!
