Is it worth it to try to regrade this ASM 42?

When I’ve gotten back books graded unexpectedly low, especially on n the low-mid range, sometimes I crack them out and sell them raw. Did that with an ASM 20 that was missing a page. Thought it would come back qualified. Came back a blue 0.5... it was lower grade than this. I still sold it for $200.

I think you're saying leave well enough alone in this case.  I appreciate the feedback!

Thanks for reposting and taking better pics. Nice job!

I see why this received a 4.5. It's got some pretty noticeable wear and tear. This would be a tough one to upgrade, even with a press. I think oldrover is right. Still, it's a solid copy with nice color. I hope this helps...

Thanks!  I’ll leave well enough alone, then.  Live to fight another day. :)

Even if you could get to 5.5, which based on the defects present, even pressed, would be a gift grade, the difference in market value between 4.5 and 5.5 wouldn't cover the grading fee, a press, and the postage both ways. I agree with Lion and Rover.
