Do smaller mom and pop comic vendors sell there? I don't see a link for the cost of a vendor's booth: 8' x 8' or 10' x 10'. I like the design of the Puyallup blue gate hall. Lots of parking across the street. :nyah:

Found info for vendor booth rates ...

i might look in going there as a fan because of the comic artists in the list, will see about getting some books signed and hopefully a few sketches.  My buddy cried at me to stop dangling this notice about the show in his face. He wants to go .... LOL 😂

Now the trick of finding a place for one overnight near that show. Most hotels and motels hovers about $100 a night. 😓

About 2 years ago, I stayed at a hotel across from casino in Fife, WA which is south of Seattle. Complimentary basic breakfast, free parking; think it was still about $100 US/night. Puyallup good for getting quality sigs on vintage comics or Amazing World of DC mags.

Had booked a hotel for this show. Not bad for two persons, my cost is $60 CAD split. I got to cook my own food, free parking, my own bed and wifi.

Next is to buy tickets and I’m set to go for some fun in June. Hoping for good weather. :wishluck:

Booked one overnight in a hotel, show tickets brought. A friend and I are all set to go :wishluck:

Is your hotel in Fife, WA or closer to Puyallup con? I will try to attend on the Saturday before Father's Day Sunday.

Bit less 2 weeks left to go. My friend and I got our wristbands in mail. My hotel reservation inform me they add WiFi as part of reservation

So we are pretty much covering all what’s needed for the trip. Gathering the books I need for signatures in process. Got new comic art paper by mail,  I need them to get sketches from artists. Getting the interpreters while waiting for reply from the WA comic con staff.

Hope to see you boardies if you are going there. Drive safely

Good question on witnesse signatures. CGC isn’t going to this show, but maybe one of local WA comic book stores is a authorized witness  with CGC ... someone might offer this there?

Found out the WA Summer Con staff said that the CGC and the unmentioned other party respresentives will be there for witnessing and accepting books. I have sent message to get positive confirmation... will update as I get reply.

Any estimate as to how many comic vendors may show up? I did not see a vendor list on their WA website. 10' x 10' weekend :) booth cost at $350 is quite reasonable for the smaller vendor.

Reading the vendors list ... does look promising. This week I have been over my collection to pull out books I need for signatures to take on my trip. Going be fun weekend ahead! Weather shows good climate holding up.

About constant 1 hr line up for Steranko sig. Aboout 20 mins line up for Jim Shooter except on Sat. when he left for a 1 hr panel w/ Roy Thomas and quick lunch. Loved the military display on Puyallup fairgrounds.
