It's one of the services they offer. It supposedly provides buyers with assurance as to the condition of the book at a much lower cost. They put it in a bag with a tamper proof sticker.

What keeps the book from getting bumped and damaged after grading?

Seems silly to put any faith in the grade listed....

It comes with an invisible halo as well. You can't see it though because, well it's invisible.

No different than buying a book graded by a reputable dealer, I guess.

It's a small niche service and you use your eyes, the rep of the seller as well as the grade provided.

Not a bad idea, actually.

It brings about an interesting dichotomy because CBCS no longer accepts Sig Series books which are handled in sealed bags but offers a service of grading books and sealing them in bags.

It’s a real head-scratcher:insane:

Hey Roy :hi:

How’d you end up doing with the Captain Marvel  and Panther books? Did they get 9.8?

I can't find it on their website? Depending on the cost I actually think it is a pretty decent idea. Basically it gives the sort of confidence in a grade that MCS gives.
