Will restoring my grail book hurt value?Advice needed with pics

Hello,I have an Uncanny X-Men #510 sketch variant signed and graded 7.5.Mainly due to rusty staple and stain on cover.Book has never been pressed.

I want to know for value, would it be best to leave it as is,signature series 7.5 or have the staple/s replaced, comic pressed and get a higher grade comic but with a restoration/conserved+SS label.New to the forums, have only submitted this 1 book to get graded so knowledgeable advice is needed.Would have to sell soon for home repairs later in the year so would like to make a decision soon.

If anyone has an idea on cost/turnaround time and what the potential grade will be on this comic please let me know.I have pictures shown below.

Thank you

All that white space and good ol' Stan just goes right across the crotch. Classic.

no one will want this book with a purple label so I wouldnt do any restoration. I can't get a good look at the stain. Campbell has a huge signature. I wonder if you could window pane to the stain area and have him "cover up" the stain with his sig. I don't know if cgc frowns on something like that though. What were the other defects listed in the grader notes?

Yeah wasn't the happiest with that considering I had the entire left side by the tree to her thigh cut out for him to sign, apparently that was too small.

Can't remember for certain but I believe that was it.If you look infront the staples you may notice the little brown marks,it's hard for me to take a pic of it..cover is white so it does show but it's light.

Do I have any options then?If they somehow remove the marks, that's a restored/conserved label?

If this is your "Grail" book then I imagine you will never part with it. I would keep it as is and wait for a better one to come to market, buy that and sell this one.

I would more than likely be parting with it later in the year, hopefully I'd repurchase one in the future..It's my house so it does get first priority lol.

And thanks guys for the feedback, leave as is however the stains on cover, removing it will be considered restoration or no?Not sure if gum eraser/some other method CCS uses will be able to remove it or atleast attempt to.
