Had a Gs X-men 1 8.5 bumped up to a 9.6, sold it for 6K 2 yrs ago, wish I still had it.

For those unfamiliar with Atomic Age titles, only three pre-1960 copies of Strange Adventures (111 different issues, 1854 total certifications/encapsulations) have earned a grade of CGC 9.8.       As far as I'm concerned, @joeypost is The Man.

Yeah, it was a quite a while ago, but still feels like a few years to me!  However literally only a few years ago that I sold my Hulk 181 CGC 8.0 here on the boards for $1,300 and literally started doubling and tripling in market value over that next year after staying fairly stagnant in market prices for what seemed like a very long time.  Murphy's law, if your selling a grail, its probably at the very worst time!
