Press smooths the light bend. The slight miss-wrap should not be an issue in 9.8, let alone 9.6. Color flecks on the surface of the bottom right front cover is really the only defect I can see, if that's really a rub or scuff and not simply a production anomaly on this particular book.

If you put a sheet of paper behind it most scanners will auto-scan a larger area so you don't end up with such closely cropped edges.
