Hi, I recently picked this up and am curious to know what others estimate this grade to be.

The large interior piece missing, possibly due to separated joined pages, measures 2 1/2" in length and 15/16" in height.

The missing piece does not seem to interrupt the story. So I believe it could get a 5.0 grade.

I've been given estimates ranging from a 3 by an LCS to a 5, which is the upper bounds of what I'd personally been willing to estimate as well.

It was sold as a 6.5 

As this one may have manually Separated Siamese/Joined along with a number of other issues that make it a kind of difficult case feel free to follow the thread if you want to get a follow-up. If the dealer and I can work something out I'll post some pics once it's in a slab.

the relatively extensive water staining is the major defect here.  the piece out of the interior page and the back cover crease are typical for the VG range

A clean and a press will help the wavy front cover and the issues on the back cover. The water staining limits the grade to below a 5.5. All things considered,  I could see a 4.0-4.5.
