I got this from Tim Sale in 2006, at Emerald City Comic Con.  Not many Sale Black Cats out there, and per Tim, this was the first time he drew the character.

Got this one at ECCC 2018, if you pick up his 2019 sketchbook you will see it in there!

TSale is most known, it seems, for his mini-series with Jeph Loeb.  So, of course, I'm going to get the "anonymous lady in the parking garage"  (:

Could be worse...I have 2 small sketches of Hiro and Sylar from heroes!

I’ve got a few, but this is my favorite commission and my favorite published piece.

I love the "FedEx ruins priceless artwork" press clipping in the background  :bigsmile:

Flinch had so many great covers. Sadly the interiors were so uneven.

Funny guy!

I’m serious though. Rick Berry. Richard Corbin. Mike Kaluta. Kent Williams.

Makes me think of the Oni press covers for Whiteout (also a great series).  They had an embarrassment of riches too, time and time again.

Mignola, Miller, Wagner

I digress. Back to Tim Sale...
