What is IMSM..?

Iron Man/ Submariner #1 circa 1968. One Shot. He collects that book. And I believe makes You Tube political rant videos in his laundry room. Chalk board and all.

Reading this, you would fit into the UFO research community perfectly. You have been involved, haven't you.

Wow. Elvis is alive, Hitler is alive( he would be close to 135 years old if that were really remotely insanely true), UFO's experimented on people and brought them back alive to tell about it....

No, seriously, truth is stranger than fiction. That is why I like funny books, to stay in that fictional world of Superheroes...

Look I'm not the expert in this cat, others here are. I'll let them step in but, yes, it's my belief he collects only that one book. To the tune of thousands of copies.

Wow. Old habits die hard.

I did not think of creating a new "List" but since I will be forever associated with that let me get my neanderthal portion of the brain working on it...

But I am here because of my involvement in the Comic Book hobby. I sell quite a bit and was willing to share some insights. Good faith effort to

help those who may need it. I do know how hard it can be, trust me.

But I must now do some shameless self-promotion:

NO ONE has sold more IMSM than I have. Throw all the Metropolis's at me, all the Mile Highs, anyone you wish to bash me with,

NO ONE can touch my worst month.

The problem I now face is that my raw copy count is below 1,000 and now I need to decide if  want to continue with this Title of still

having more than anyone else. Nice "problem" to have.

CAL2 the KING of IMSM, and a few others to be more honest...

If the hobby is a Monopoly board, IMSM is its Baltic Avenue.

I understand you got into this book in an attempt to corner the market. You admitted that you thought there were many less copies than there are, and by acquiring a few hundred, you could become the markets specialist in that book. Not a bad plan, but the wrong book as not only is there a tremendous supply of the book, but there is also very little demand for it.

So why the continued infatuation with the book?

Ok, yes I saw you at the Roswell 50th celebration in Roswell, NM in 1997.

Iron Man and Sub-Mariner # 1, 1968. THE One-Shot all-time! Yes, my YouTube channel has a VIDEO about IMSM recent sales, and I need to do more videos. Thanx for reminding me!

Oh, that background is NOT my Laundry Room. If you really cannot resist the temptation to bash me, at least make YOUR own YouTube videos and attack me THAT way, if you are man enough.

I understand you have a desire to defend yourself. I think we all do in a sense, but do you think you could start a thread titled 'Cal2 defends himself' and take the beef over there, before my thread gets locked. I think I posted a good topic of conversation.

I don't wanna make a You Tube video. They're stupid. Instead of pointing an iphone at something, learn film stock differences, learn how to load a film magazine, learn depth of field, prime lenses/zoom lenses, learn about back lighting, key lighting, fill lighting, learn how to make an edge coded work print, learn how to edit, cut a negative and learn how to take your A and B rolls and strike an answer print. Learn how to get this into a movie theater. That sH*t impresses me, you tube videos don't.

I didn't attack you just stated that in one of your videos there was a laundry machine with folded laundry on it. I saw it. It's true.

I accidentally attended a big UFO conference in Laughlin a few years back. Checked into the hotel to find some fancy conference going on. Turned out to be a UFO fan fest. I got free admission from a casino host to most of the events and crashed the cocktail party.  Free booze and a room full of true believers should have been more fun that it was.

lol

My dad, and my best friend's dad, are both big-time alien/UFO believers. I would say, "you wouldn't believe some of the :censored: they say after a few drinks", but you attending those events probably paints a vivid picture.

FYI: It's mathematically more likely than not that humanoid life exists somewhere out there, but...

You'll never meet them in your lifetime. If we track life 100 million light years away, not only are we viewing the past, but it would take 100 million years (at light speed) to travel there. We wouldn't know what it's like now. And vice-versa. So, I don't understand the alien fetish.
