The Kirby Clobberin’ Time pin up is really finding some legs. Seems overpriced already.

I think it still has some legs to run higher.  That said, I am not a huge fan of the image.

There seem to be some differences in condition of the Kirby Thing pin-up from the pic someone posted of it at SDCC and the pic in the auction--eg creases not shown in the auction

Agreed. Crease is very noticeable in SDCC pics

If you guys mean this pic:

71120210_ThingHeritage.jpg.2e4074ca0f7e7963e27f2272cd9d37a7.jpg

That line across the middle isn't a crease. It's a shadow from the glass shelf above the piece.

I saw it in person and thought the same thing, until I noticed the same shadow ran across all the pieces on that shelf to the left and right of The Thing.

In a photo it's hard to tell, but that's not a crease. Also, the item is in a sleeve of some sort, there are issues with the reflection from the convention lighting, the top lighting within the case itself, the shelves, etc. that really make it hard to utilize these pics for condition evaluation.

I just saw the number on that Sal Buscema Defenders cover.  Holy moly.  Am I out of touch?

If you read the fine print, the winner is entitled to have Sal act as his personal valet for one year. I hear he makes a mean mojito...just saying.

The Defenders cover is now slightly over the Avengers 72 cover, which was a record USD 89625 back in 2014.  Not going into pricing considerations now as we are just about to go into the live auctions.  Both are terrific covers though (IMHO).

On a personal level, disappointed with the way Lone Wolf 3 looks as an original (and the fact that its two boards frankensteined onto one).     That's a high nostalgia one for me personally, but I can't see bidding as a result.

Cap 1 already at 855k
