PGM ASM 9 0

Had a family member recently pass and I found some comics at their house. I don’t know much about comics and I don’t know if it’s worth much in this conditions. I could really use some input! Thanks in advance! 

Here’s a little info about the comic that I’m sure you can see. There’s a piece missing from the front right top corner. This is the only piece actually missing from the comic. There’s 2 small rips on the edge of the front cover. Several of the pages have a small rip at the bottom maybe 1/2”. The staples seam to be off center. Not sure what that’s about. In the pic of the centerfold and back you can see the staples. Also in the centerfold you can see the small tear on the bottom of the pages.

I would say it is a 1.8...maybe a 2.0 but I feel there is a lot of things going on preventing it from getting there.

1.5 initial look might get lucky with a 1.8 but there's missing pieces back cover and front cover and heavy creasing, spine splits that wont allow it IMO to go much higher

I sent it off to CGC back in July and finally got the grade for it today. It’s a 2.5. I’ll post a pic when I get it in the mail.

I would've guessed a 1.8 on the grade! And nice find! Hope your family is doing well too!

I was crossing my fingers for a 2.0 with that piece missing from the cover. Very happy with the 2.5.

Really, I thought the creases were gonna drag it down more than the piece missing.

I had a Hulk 2 (this is the 'before' picture) with a MUCH bigger piece out of the cover. Sent it to @joeypost for pressing and some chiropractic treatment ( ) and it came back a 2.5 as well.

Maybe having the cover and centerfold still attached with both staples helped off set the creases. Or maybe they felt bad about making me wait 4&1/2 months I don’t know. Either way I’m not complaining. That Hulk #2 is a nice book you got there.
