I mean sure it might take away a job opportunity in the short term, but long term I think it would just create more interest in comics and have something new. At least JJ isn't paying off college admissions to get him into college...... Now if I was established in the industry and have been trying to get a spider-story through the process and got stepped all over by this, that is when I would understand and be upset. I get it, but it's not like it doesn't happen all the time in entertainment. Hell, Stan Lee was the cousin of the founder of Marvel when he was hired.
