Before I post a few more books, given the opportunity, and despite overwhelming apathy demand, here's my 1 minute spoiler free review of Godzilla....but first a word about spoilers...

A spoiler assumes content that, if revealed, would make a difference to your enjoyment of the movie...I did enjoy the movie, but absolutely nothing happened that, if I had been told in advance, would have caused me to enjoy it less...

So this movie is also rated SI, for "Spoiler Immune"!

Bottom line is that apocalyptic destruction was good, monsters were good, humans babbling and doing funny things was good. My only complaint was the glorification of Fenway Park as either a) the focal point for the end of the world (possibly valid) or b) as the scene of Godzilla's greatest triumph (certainly not valid, and indeed the most deeply disturbing part of the film). Generally the movie could have been shorter by about 30 minutes, and it sucked that they had to nuke Atlantis. My hope is that this does not adversely effect sales of Sub-Mariner comics.

So I would rate it 3.5 stars out of 5. Its bloodless and PC enough for the whole family, and my two Japanese friends loved it. I guess it was nice for a change seeing other people's cities getting destroyed. (thumbsu

Tales of Suspense 92 8.5 (Cracked out CGC 8.5 CR-OW label incl; Bright with strong colours & superior gloss; presents much better & at first glance looks undergraded but an accumulation of small things kept it, I am assuming, from a 9.0; light spine & edge wear, mainly top edges fc & bc; slight staple stress; light spine stress; blunted ur crnr fc with sm crses; v faint vertical partial cb crses right center top & btm edge bc, this may be production or it may be that it was more pronounced at one time & this book was pressed up to an 8.5, but I cannot say for sure; d-shdw left edge bc; mod tanning interior cvrs; light to mod foxing & ink transfer bc) $35.00

Fantastic Four 33 Qualified 6.5 (Bright with good gloss; this one is a problem child for an already tough book, main defect is that the Subby pin up is present but torn out, and to make matters worse it is not the original pin up from this copy (which is gone), it is "married", if that term is appropriate, for a pin up which was torn from another copy and placed loose in this copy; if you have read to this point and still care, its otherwise a solid copy with light to mod spine & edge wear, mainly top & btm edges fc & bc; 2 long diagonal partial cb/ncb crses/folds center top bc; mod tanning halos interior cvrs; light to mod foxing & ink transfer bc) $25.00

Fantastic Four 102 9.0 (Cracked out CGC 9.2 OW-W label incl; Bright & glossy, my reservation is two defects, a faint thumb shaped partial cb crse left btm edge fc near spine, & crnr blunting with cb crses bl crnr bc, one or the other maybe, but not both, and of course these could have been caused post-slab; otherwise light spine & edge wear, mainly top edge bc; v light spine & staple stress; v light tanning beginning interior cvrs; light foxing & ink transfer bc) $30.00 SOLD

Ripley's Believe it or Not! 86 8.0 (Bright with strong colours & superior gloss;  v light spine & edge wear; light cb spine stress; would otherwise grade 9.0 except for impact ur crnr fc leaving a faint partial cb crse ur crnr fc and diminishing throughout book to soft ncb fold ul crnr bc; will never be a key for anything but close to my heart of Egyptian themed covers, and one of the best, & recently I got a NM copy so this one is offered up) Claimed
