Dr Strange / Dr Doom Triumph and Torment - one of the best

I am also nostalgic for the Havok & Wolverine Meltdown 4 parter.

Elektra Lives Again.

He also wrote the Daredevil marvel Graphic Novel with art by Bill Sienkiewicz. Both are very good.

Ok. I meant the one miller did with Bill s.

Electra lives again sucks donkey balls. At 22$ or whatever in 1988 when I was flat broke made me check out of comics for about 30 years.

Are you looking for original works in graphic novel format, like the aforementioned Death of Captain Marvel (which is superb!) or any type of trade paperback?

Oh any trade paperback.  I'm already picking up a few of these suggestions.  Any classics or even scifi moderns like Ancestor by Image.  I read that recently and it was pretty cool

And you said you like scifi? Planetary: All Over The World, and Stormwatch: Force of Nature. Grand stuff.

Now I have to check out Astro City, since the other 4 are all in my top ten.

Chew was pretty good for some dark comedy and Black Science might be right up your alley.

Great book; Fagin the Jew by Eisner is a good read too

I’ll second Jimmy Corrigan as well

Look into Daytripper by Gabriel Ba & Fabio Moon if you like philosophical stories. For superheroes, Watchmen and Planetary are my faves.

The new Mister Miracle trade is pretty darn good even if you're not a New Gods fan.

Tom King's Vision series is even better.  Great read as a collected edition.
