NoMan
I guess I’ll wait for TPB to read in one sitting. The art looks terrible which is really putting a damper to buying it at all. God it looks bad. Anybody who has read it want to give an opinion story-wise? thanks. sagekilz
The Brain
Really?? My reaction is the complete opposite of yours. I thought that JR Jr's art was some of his best. The story is appealing, given that Miller has had a tendency to write Superman as "boy scout", or as a willing tool, for a corrupt political system. SBRobin
Art is bad enough to prevent me from picking this up regardless of how good the story might be.

Haven't read it (but intend to) however you're absolutely right about the art. Edited June 25, 2019 by sagekilz

Avi
I really dislike JRJr art too...so I stayed away from the book.
followtheleader
I haven't been a big historical detractor from his art. In all openness, I thought your comments were of someone on the anti-train. But flipping thru the book, you were right. It's boring and uninteresting. Patrick

Steelrain41
I actually don't mind the art but the story just didn't pull me in. There wasn't much character development or really anything new. It was pretty meh.
slynger
I'm hearing mixed things. I'll probably pick it up just to read it. On a side note, I noticed that this first issue (and maybe all three) are quite thick - how does CGC grade these thicker books. Won't they just have newton rings all over the place if they are smashed into the holder?
RayJr
So has anyone seen a graded one yet? I waiting to see some 9.9's pop up a lot like the Batman Damned book. I remember going to a con in Dallas in 2016 and Miller was charging $175 a signature, $25 more than Stan Lee. I told mt wife hell no I ain't getting his freakin signature. There is no way in heck he should be charging more than Stan The Man
