For nostalgia, its got to be 1987! Jerry Bingham on Batman is first. I devoured the Son of the Demon HC over and over again.

A close second would be Kevin O'Neill on Marshall Law.

Anything and everything by Jack the King Kirby. Specifically avengers # 4, Tales to astonish- Hulk run- His Thor , Captain America and FF books just bring me back to my childhood. I started buying comics off the rack in 1975 and obtained runs of Machine Man, Devil Dinosaur , Eternals etc.. Not because I knew who he was at the but because the covers leaped out at me. Anytime I saw his older books at a comic store on the wall or at a show I knew I had to have them . I chased the older books and still have them today. They are true treasures that bring me back. As a collector they priceless - not because of monetary value but the fond memories they evoke in me!
