SUPERMAN #8, 1941. Classic Siegel & Shuster studio Superman stories. These early DCs are such fun comics... and a la Michael Chabon's 'Adventures of Kavalier and Clay', you can just tell a bunch of young guys pulled a few all-nighters and bashed this out in a weekend or so.

Condition: Bright attractive cover with zingy colors. The centerfold is missing, affecting the third story out of four. Top staple appears to have been removed. Cover wrap is loose from the book, and on close examination I suspect it is married though it seems like a decent fit. Unusually nice OW/white pages. Ideal copy if you're collecting these on the cheap. A beat incomplete copy (missing 2 CFs!) and a very brittle copy both broke the $300 mark on ebay in the past month; this is IMO a much more preferable copy that I'll offer up in the same ballpark.
