I picked up a very low grade copy of Iron Man #1 years ago on eBay with several other Silver Age issues. This was before the first Iron Man movie. I'm sure I could never afford a copy now.

I no longer own a copy. Sold mine years ago; back when a reader could be had for $25. I think Iron-Man #1 is the best book of the Class of ‘68.

That and SS1 are proving to be the most out of reach at the moment. They're the two best covers in my opinion, although Cap 100 is close behind.

And now the slabs. Looks like the only '68 major I don't have is Cap 100. I bought 3 "NM" copies through the mail back in the day that were all VG (returned them all). Guess i should have kept one of them.

I always wanted a mint Captain Savage 1 and never found one. There must be others out there

I used to own the very first 9.8 Captain Savage 1

some former copies, I used to own all of them except Silver Surfer 1 in 9.8 (owned a 9.6 - there were only 2 9.8s at the time)
