Todd McFarlane is listed on the exclusive portal for one item autograph at SDCC at the DC booth on Thursday. I'm aware of the arrangement he has with CGC and only specific shows will they provide CGC witnesses.  The description on the exclusives portal doesn't say anything about CGC witnesses not being allowed for this one.  For his later appearances at an Image booth, it does mention no CGC though.  (but those aren't ticketed through the exclusives portal)

Does anyone happen to know if I will be able to get a CGC witness to accompany me.  if I am lucky enough to get selected for an autograph through the portal?

McFarlane typically has special arrangements for CGC SS, and they almost certainly depend on the event.  If I were you, I'd ask CGC customer service FIRST, and see if they know about any arrangements.

Thanks, I did and they weren't aware of any special arrangements so not sure what to think.

I asked Twin Cities Comics about this since they usually get back room signings at conventions.  They told me that Todd Mcfarlane is not doing CGC SS at SDCC.

You can get a book signed but it will get the green label. CGC will not witness Mcfarlane only at his offices for private signings.
