The Brits used up a lot of the best comic shop names. Hard to beat "Forbidden Planet" and (my personal favorite name by a mile) "Dark They Were, and Golden Eyed".

It looks amateur.  If you look at all the large companies, the logo is kept very simple.

If you are intent about using the purple, I would consider adding back the legs which provoked the idea of word balloons.

That would be pointless as the entire shape and design have lost the entire genius word balloon effect.
