I would argue having access to the entire Marvel/DC library at no cost would pump fuel back into the industry. I would imagine it renews interest for many to go back and read issues they missed. In return the spark is back and they are collecting again, buying merch, original art, commissions, attending shows, tickets to movies....etc. Am I wrong? Not like the original creators are seeing any money from "legit" digital sites. I say DC and Marvel open the floodgates to anything past say...5-10 years at no charge online.

Marvel Unlimited is like $6 per month.  Access to MOST of what they've published for less than the price of two new comics per month.  Can you really complain about that?

Didn't realize it was that cheap. Don't know why but I thought it was closer to $20 a month. Silver and Bronze listed in the unlimited package?

To be more accurate than my previous post: if you go month-to-month, it's $9.99 per month.  If you go yearly, it's (or was -- the may have slightly increased lately) $5.83 per month.  Can't beat it.

For the $9.99 month (or less if you buy the annual sub), yes, indeed, every book in the archive is available to you, including a bunch of silver and bronze. To be fair there are still some gaps, but it's a very impressive lineup of books, and they are literally adding more titles every single week. For pure readers, it is an absolute steal.
