Looks like this Xmen 1 could use a press. Thoughts on possible before and after?

I don't own it yet. Was considering buying it raw and taking my chances with pressing it and eventually slabbing. But not worth it now with all the risks some of the folks mentioned

Oh.  :blush:  Yes, I do think there is a fair amount of risk.

if your fairly new to collecting and grading and have no idea what your doing and want to buy something for whatever reason you would have a much safer bet buying a book slabbed as you already know a pro has given its a grade and checked for resto. if you know what your doing it might be worth it depending on what the seller wants and what your willing to risk having it come back as and if your pretty good at spotting resto etc..
