SDCC Couch Tour 2019 - No Lines for Drinks or Bathroom Waits 3 3

It's been a few years since SDCC Couch Tour... 

Not going to the big show? Trust me, I know how it feels. When you want to go to an event and the tickets are too much, the distance away is too far, or for whatever reason that you cannot go, you attend from afar. For example, tI am not going to get to go to Commerce City, Colorado to see the final three shows of the summer tour, so I will fire up the BBQ or maybe order a pizza, enjoy an adult beverage of five and order a show or three. This is known as "couch tour". The one good thing about Couch Tour is that there are no lines for the bathroom, the beers are always the ones I want and there is no cut off.

I have not done one of these in years and they were always fun.   So, share notable news that comes out of SDCC, link some videos, copy and paste some announcements, show us some pics.  Feel free to post in this thread with newsworthy items. So pull up a beverage of choice, sit back and see what is going on for those of us left behind.

I'm actually going on 'vacation' beginning tomorrow (thru Tuesday). Do rental houses typically have WiFi? I'd like to watch new trailers and stuff on my laptop. I'm also concerned about my LTE coverage in this area.

Mile High's latest email was quite amusing (cheap laughs are the only reason I stay subscribed) -- three (or was it two?  I deleted the thing already...) years later Chuck is still complaining about the booth loading problems that they had, which cost them -- ten...thousand...dollars! -- in (alleged, that's what $2500 in real world money?) lost sales.  Accordingly he hates being in San Diego right now (I'm sure the con organizers graciously accepted his money though).

Hasbro is going to hold back an undetermined number of each of their SDCC exclusives for order on their website at a future date.  This year they actually released what day orders for these exclusives go live.

One of two threads I look forward to every year, this one, and @Awax's who I think usually posts his over in the modern forum. I haven't been to SDCC since '98, can't believe I"ll ever return given how big it's gotten. I'm heading on vacation myself in a couple of days, and will only have intermittent internet access. I'll be using up some of that precious bandwidth to check this thread, so keep it coming!

Don't forget the ordeal of all the men's washrooms running out of paper at SDCC on Saturday. 4 hr line up for Hall H is  partially shaded; sometimes roasting in the San Diego sun.
