Okay so I'm good with it. If he sells if for double, that basically means we both made pretty much the same profit on the book (he might make less due to Feebay final fees).

It's still a win-win.

I sold a book on the boards, buyer kept asking me to hurry and send the book. The multiple emails so quickly seemed a bit strange. Sure enough the buyer had already put my scan up on e-bay. Lightened the scan and bumped the grade up.

Here's another one.

I just bought a Church pedigree book. Another person put an ad in the CBG selling the same book days later. Then contacting me trying to buy it so he could sell it for more.

I ended up selling to him.

Tupenny bought the Walt Simonson Thor / Beta Ray Bill poster and asked for it to be drop shipped after he got an offer right after he posted the take it.

I sold Shad 2 Avengers books that he wanted me to drop ship for him.

A certain member bought an Avengers 57 for his collection and immediately flipped it for a nice profit. That one was of course a misunderstanding.

Other than those that outright say "pre-order", isn't it against eBay policy to sell stuff that is not on-hand?

I shrug... who cares? I got paid. 

Sometimes I will open my eyes wide with astonishment at the rate the market is increasing but not at a perceived loss. 

Perfect example.  I texted a board member in astonishment the other night over Avengers 8. 

• I bought the book from Metro for $90 in 2015.
• I had it pressed and sent to CGC and it came back an 8.0 OW to White Pages.
• I sold that book on March 10, 2017 for $385
• Avengers 8 in a CGC 8.0 OW Pages sold on CLink the other night for around $1200. 

On the other hand I bought a different book off these boards in 2012 for $300.  I am not going to name the seller or the book.  It came back a 2.5 Slightly Brittle Pages.  I sold it for $1250 this spring. 

I cannot concentrate or have sour grapes over "what I could have sold it for" otherwise I am hanging onto everything.  I am happy to make a little bit of scratch off anything I sell.

I actually posted a book on facebook that I had just got back from CGC and I priced it undervalued 

Well doesnt a buyer scroll through my facebook page and find it in the raw version

I was selling said book for $525

And I have a pic of me holding it with a clear sticker price of $275

I nearly forgot I even had it. Got it in my monthly Diamond box back in the day. It's been sitting comfortably in a box of miscellaneous stuff for the last 36 years. If you hadn't mentioned it, I probably wouldn't even remember it for another couple decades
