STRANGE TALES # 40 - Atlas 1955  fantastic Maneely "mermaid" cover + Everett art.

Excellent colors and ow pgs.( no tanning). Lt. 3" stress line in middle of cover. Lt. chipping upper sp. This issue has one of my fav Atlas stories by Everett " A Stranger on Earth". For you dog lovers, it's about one of our beloved canines saves the earth from total destruction. Was $175.00   NOW $150.00

 

 

MYSTIC # 23 - Atlas 1953  great Russ Heath cover

Beautiful colors with ow pgs.(no tanning). Lt. sp. wear, very lt. foxing bc, "KC" marked on fc. Solid, tight and crisp copy. Was $325.00  NOW $295.00

Tough issue in any condition. Nice colors with ow pgs. 11/2" sp. split, small piece lower edge fc, moderate sp. wear consisting of transverse stress lines. Lt. tanning to inside edges of covers. VG-  $195.00

Heritage sold an 8.5 fairly recently for $4800. I will need $3600.00 to let this one go.
